Dubai, UAE, November 28, 2016: Bahri & Mazroei Technical Systems (BMTS), the leading provider of solutions to building, industrial automation and infra-development segments in the UAE, has completed one of its largest project in industrial solutions for the recently opened Bollywood Parks, a Dubai Parks & Resorts projects. BMTS provided industrial and life safety solutions to the world’s first theme park, which is dedicated to the Bollywood film industry.
As an end-to-end technology and managed services company in the areas of safety, security, power, audio visual and building automation, BMTS is associated with major projects in the UAE in various capacities with its IoT and Machine to Machine (M2M) based software solutions. For the project BMTS has closely worked with trusted partners that included two consultants and two different MEP Contractors. The complex project was conducted for 12 buildings and the magnanimous RajMahal Theatre.

Further highlighting BMTS’ role in the project, Mr. Sivakumar Subramanian, General Manager of BMTS, said, “BMTS was assigned with the installation of industrial and life safety solutions for the Bollywood Parks project. There is also a system in place where in we have installed a complex monitoring system that connects all buildings. We have used the best suitable and top functional products and technology for this project. From understanding the specifics to choosing the right equipment, installing and testing them, we had our hands full for months.”

The theme park is equipped with state-of-the-art district cooling systems from Tabreed with all structures connected to the district cooling package pipelines. The control, measurement, supply of chilled water supply to the cooling system is regulated by state of the industrial automation system comprising RTUs, programmable field measurement, programmable logic controllers to ensure the optimization of chilled water quantity and energy for pumping the same.
The RajMahal theatre at Bollywood Parks proved to be a challenge for BMTS safety professionals. The team had to consider plays, acts and sequences that would make use of balloons and celebratory fires which could trigger false alarms. The intelligent safety systems offered by BMTS are superior in technology and differentiate the usage from real hazard which may occur. BMTS has used a solution called OSID technology for this purpose.
BMTS implements a range of innovative and smart solutions for monitoring and controlling numerous buildings in the UAE and beyond.
